Swimming competitively is a very challenging sport. However, even if you do it for leisure or to remain in shape, you might have heard of exercises that you do from the pool to help keep you strong and give you the endurance for more hours of swimming.
Here are just three yoga asanas which are amazing and will keep you swimming like a fish and maintain your element from the pool!
Begin by standing up straight.
Step your left foot out to your side so that your toes are 2-3 feet apart.
Bending in the hip touch your feet.
Repeat 3-6 times.
Garudasana (Eagle Pose)
Begin by standing up straight.
Bending your right knee, wrap your left leg around the best one in such a manner your left knee is over the best one.
Raising your arms in front of you, wrap your right hand round the left one. Fold your palms together.
Fix your gaze at a stage in front of you and remain in the pose for as long as possible.
Repeat 2-5 times on each side.
Virasana (Hero Pose)
Start kneeling on the ground.
Keep your knees together but your toes apart.
Lower yourself till you’re seated between your spread calves.
Hold for as long as comfortable with a straight back and pushed chest.
